The Clean Power Plan: The Right Step towards Renewable Energy Use

The move of the Reno City Council to vote in support of the Clean Power Plan is a step forward in the world economy to progress from dirty coal energy to clean and renewable energy. The vote made the council join many private sector companies in the support of the renewable and clean energy use in the industries. The union of different areas will create a strong front in the pushing the society to embrace the Clean Power Plan.

He commended the elected officials for their smart move and proceeded to ask for more of them to follow suit. He noted that Clean Power Plan could work toward creating a healthy and stable economy, despite the topic of clean energy being politicized. There is also under utilization of solar and geothermal energy in the nation and over-reliance of outdated coal burning and electricity. He believes clean energy venture is a lucrative venture and it is going to attract top-notch investors such as Tesla, Microsoft and Apple. Most of this companies are aware that clean energy is the future and they have even started indirectly penetrating the area by availing job opportunities to residents.

He called for every individual and community at large to give the issue of clean energy, the seriousness it deserves. He called for massive support of the Clean Power Plan from all quarters in order to acquire immense success associated with a fast growing economy.
