Bumble is a new dating app that allows the women to take charge. Users are able to swipe their phone to approve or decline a prospect. The catch is that once the users have both swiped to the right, the women must start the conversation first within 24 hours or the connection disappears. This app gathers information from individuals Facebook account such as their job and any schooling they may have. This helps user’s find out some information about the person. This dating app was founded in December 2014 by Whitney Wolfe and although Bumble is fairly new, there has already been at least 5 million chats started by women and 1 billion swipes by women and men.
